Women having babies or not quite there yet should take folic acid to prevent birth defects, older men and woman can benefit from extra vitamin C in prevent heart disease. Overall it is crucial to take a critical look at your diet - see what you can change by putting food in your mouth first, and then choose your vitamins carefully.
I'm doing to ask my doctor at my yearly physically appointment next week if there are any vitamins he recommend me taking - including the folic acid so I can have healthy babies when I grow up. Do you have any vitamin recommendations? Do you have a favorite brand - or whatever is on sale? Has taking vitamins changed something for better or for worse in your life? Please share!
