Sun-dried Tomato Dressing & StyleSalt!

First, I want to give a shout-out to an awesome style site that makes shopping easier than ever. No, this is not a paid advertisement.  This site is partially run by a friend from college, upcoming model, Sarah Hawkins, and I believe in her hard work & incredible insight into the fashion world.  Her fashion forward, quirky blog posts are not only fun but are extremely useful.  From what-not-to-wear tips & upcoming trends to look out for, StyleSalt is the place to go.  Here's the great part: they're looking for bloggers! So, if you or anyone you know has some great insight into current fashion trends & has something interesting to say, contact Sarah at

On to the recipe!  I made this on the spot as a substitute dressing.  It was so good I wrote down exactly what I put it to make sure I remembered for next time!

3 oz bag Sun-dried tomatoes
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
pinch of black pepper
Italian herbs
1/2 Red bell pepper
garlic clove
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Banana pepper (Optional- we had it & wanted to try it. Worked super well.  But it's not necessary)
Everything in the food processor.

Put in food processor & mix.

On the salad.

This dressing is not quite the liquid dressing you think of but it is so flavorful that it tastes just like one.  Put a spoonful on top of your salad & mix around for a great italian flavor.
