Day 2

I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible. I'm sick, miserable, and tired.

Felt: Is there a more descriptive word than "shitty"? If so, let me know.
Ate: B- Tea, pear, strawberries, grapes, blueberry yogurt. L- Sauteed beans and a handful of cherry tomatoes. D- So, I cheated (from the "raw" aspect) a little, but I heated up some chicken broth to help with this sickness & my throat. I threw in some carrots and half a potato for some sustenance. Just finished up with some grapes and a glass of water with 2 Tbsp of ACV* and 2 Tbsp of honey.
Exercise: Nothing yet. I did wake up at 6 am and planned on going out for a run but a) it was cold and rainy (which under normal circumstances I wouldn't care about but I'm sick and somehow being outside in that weather seemed dumb) & b) I felt like I had been hit by a car in the face. My lungs felt gurgley and I could barely breathe. I decided that getting some decent rest before work was more important. I'm still tempted to do some working out tonight but if my husband is smart he'll stop me and tell me I need my rest.
Weight Lost: 1.2 POUNDS!!! woohoooooo.

Right now, Mucinex, cough drops, ACV and NyQuil are my best friends. I really hope this ends by tomorrow night, especially since I wasn't able to make it to my ceramics class tonight.

  1. totally ok to cheat when you need it... makes it less likely to binge and put on weight later in the diet. don't be afraid to have something nice and sweet (think dark chocolate) when you are craving it. i know my roommate has a piece of an organic dark chocolate bar from trader joe's with her cup of tea at night and loves it.
